Over the past few years a new method of teaching has changed the face of agricultural facilities at the school-farm in Ursprung.
In 2009, a sheep stable was built. This new home for the Ursprung sheep flock remains a very practical building and is in good shape.
The year after, the school bakery was renovated. The oven is used for baking bread and the room also provides a cosy atmosphere
for different school festivities. In January 2011, the students started planning a machine hall. Just 6 months later, the building
was shown to the public, very useful and aesthetic and at an unbeatable price. A mobile shed for free-range pigs was built and a
compartment for organic poultry was designed in 2012. The facilities are in daily use and act as examples for modern production systems.
In 2013 students planned and completely rebuilt the entrance area of the school. More than 1,500 hours of labour were spent and in the
end the whole school community was very proud about the splendid solution. The next agricultural projects are already in the tube…
